Tod's No_Code, the collection inspired by Jefferson Hack

Its name is No_Code, it's inspired by Jefferson Hack and reflects that international coolness of which Dazed & Confused founder is the charmest symbol.



It's the new Tod's shoe collection, a special project launched for the first time by the Italian brand and dedicated mostly to the web. 
In fact, you can find a Tumblr page, a video and a handful of shots by Roe Ethridge oriented to disclose inspirations and suggestions behind the capsule (I'm also in love with the photos and videos about Pablo Picasso, Jean Seberg and Steve McQueen).



The collection wil be presented in Paris and will be available in the Tod's boutiques on January 23. 
Whilst it will be launched in a special version for 10 Corso Como (Milan), Colette (Paris), Dover Street Market (London) and Theresa (Monaco).

Si chiama No_Code, è ispirata da Jefferson Hack e incarna quello spirito cool e internazionale di cui il founder di Dazed & Confused è l'emblema più charming e sofisticato.



E' la nuova collezione di Tod's, che per la prima volta lancia un progetto dedicato in anteprima al web e ai media online, con la creazione di un Tumblr, un video e una manciata di scatti realizzati da Roe Ethridge e finalizzati a rivelare ispirazioni e suggestioni della capsule (la sottoscritta ha ancora gli occhi a cuoricino anche per le immagini e i video di Pablo Picasso, Jean Seberg e Steve McQueen). 



La collezione sarà presentata a Parigi il 23 gennaio, e sempre lo stesso giorno sarà disponibile nelle boutique Tod's. 
Mentre invece, sarà declinata in una linea a edizione limitata per 10 Corso Como (Milano), Colette (Parigi), Dover Street Market (Londra) e Theresa (Monaco).

L'Autre Chose...

Sorbet colours, strass embroidery, navy stripes, soft shapes, a very rétro taste. L'Autre Chose 2011 spring/summer collection represents the quintessence of a graceful femininity, a little coquettish and very parisienne woman. I liked it very much: not only for its rétro taste, but, above all, for quality and practicality of pieces.
I fell in love with little marinière and flapper dresses, embroidered and denim wedges, romantic and innocent nightwear.
I already know it will be hard to choose only one thing.
And you, what do you suggest?
Meanwhile here some snapshots took last saturday at the presentation in a beautiful and elegant flat in Via della Spiga, Milano, among strawberry sorbets and a lot of good lounge music...












Colori sorbetto, fiori, ricami di strass, righe navy, forme delicate, gusto smaccatamente rétro. La collezione primavera/estate 2011 L'Autre Chose rappresenta la quintessenza di una femminilità garbata, un po' frou frou e très, très parisienne. A me, personalmente, è piaciuta moltissimo: non solo per il sapore d'altri tempi, ma soprattutto per la qualità e la portabilità dei capi. Mi sono innamorata dei vestitini marinière, di quelli in stile flapper, delle zeppe ricamate di strass, di quelle in denim, dei capi per la notte candidi e romantici...
So già che sarò in crisi quando si tratterà di scegliere cosa acquistare.
Voi cosa suggerite?
Intanto ecco qualche scatto dalla presentazione di sabato scorso, in una bella ed elegante dimora di Via della Spiga a Milano, tra squisiti sorbettti alla fragola e tanta buona musica lounge...

Strawberry Fields Forever (a miu miu dream)

I've always loved red. The colour of candies, roses, lipsticks, love, strawberries.
And I've always loved those accessories that remind me of a certain playful childish atmosphere.
When I saw this pair of miu miu it was love at first sight.
They were so greedy, charming, sugary and so so red!
From the moment I bought them we never kept each other apart. When summer comes I wear them with everything and everytime I can, especially with studs, little dresses, jeans and non-serious looks to keep alive their playful nature.

Ho sempre amato il rosso.
Il colore delle caramelle, delle rose, del rossetto, dell'amore, delle fragole.
E ho sempre amato quegli accessori che mi ricordano una certa atmosfera fanciullesca e giocosa.
Quando ho visto questo paio di miu miu è stato amore a prima vista.
Erano così "golose", accattivanti, zuccherose e così rosse!
Da quando le ho acquistate non ci siamo più lasciate! ogni volta che arriva l'estate le indosso appena posso con qualsiasi cosa: soprattutto con borchie, piccoli abitini, jeans e looks non troppo seriosi per conservare il loro spirito ludico.

Tiny Dancer

I think ballerinas are the best shoes to wear for an everyday look. They are so comfortable, cute and stylish. Of course they reminds me of old time refined women...
Here my new purple ballerinas from Zara s/s 2010. I love the bow and the colour and I find them so lovely!


Credo che le ballerine siano le migliori scarpe da indossare per una mise quotidiana. Sono così comode!
Mi ricordano le donne di classe di altri tempi...
Queste sono le nuove flat che ho acquistato da Zara.
